In other news, I drove a friend and her friend to Spokane today, and we ended up talking about SPN as they both watch it. But you know what's weird? Talking to people who like SPN but aren't in fandom. I rambled on for like, 10 minutes before I realized I sounded like a giant unhinged freak. Which, let's face it, I kind of am, but sometimes I forget not everyone knows that.

SO it was my first week of school last week! I wake up, bright eyed and bushy tailed and READY TO LEARN.

...only I can't really breathe. I think oh great, I'm getting a cold and do my normal COMBAT THE COLD stuff: I drink 4 glasses of tea, buy a gallon of orange juice to haul around with me and eat really spicy food. The next day, I woke up worse. My head felt like pudding. I muddled through school and work, and my coworkers were great and just let me stand at the counter like a lemon. I was miserable. Wednesday, I wake up feeling like I'd been hit by a bulldozer, and somehow the screw on my glasses decided to elope with my chapstick under cover of darkness. Fuck it I say, and stay home. The next day I go to the doctor, and she tells me I have a sinus infection AND an ear infection, and gives me a doctor's note to stay home. I feel like I'm 5, but do as she orders. Yesterday the fun really started. I had my first full-fledged panic attack in over a year, so I pack up my things and head for my mom's. She's great, she takes care of me and then, in the middle of the night, she starts screaming. I go to check on her, and she goes 'call 911' and collapses. On the floor. So of course I freak the fuck out, call 911, and spend the next 7 hours in the ER.


...2010? Suck my dick. To sum up:

So, it's the third day of school, and I stayed home sick. I think that's some kind of record, seriously. On the good news side, I spent the day catching up on shows I've been backed up on, like Chuck. Who apparently now has a crush on Lana Lang. What is with her and tall super-humans? Seriously woman, MOVE ON. Also, I caught up on all the non-KISH-y episodes of OLTL, and there are STILL characters I don't know. Although they're getting fewer and far between. I don't know any of their real names, though, so I've made up some of my own. Maybe I'll make a chart, like the one benvolio_daemon made me for Band of Brothers. stalker_celly and I were wondering what story line there could possibly be that was more important than the Kish baby storyline, which involves like 50 people, and I am happy to report that now I know. Mitch Lawrence stealing daughters! Like, all of them! Apparently he's starting a harem, or something. In closing:

In other, somewhat related news: I sent my sister the Chris Kane song "House Rules" thinking "at least she won't like him anymore" and she CALLED ME when she got it and said "OH MY GOD, MADELINE, HE IS MY PERFECT MAN"

I START BY SAYING I LOVE MY SHOW. Sometimes, when it's gone, I think "I can't really love it that much. There are so many other shows! It can't really be my love to end all love." And then I see it. And by the end, I'm practically vibrating with glee, and I remember that NO I REALLY DO LOVE IT ABOVE EVERYTHING ELSE.

SO! As some of you know, I'm working on a reclist! It is long-going, and tedious, and VERY NEARLY ALMOST DONE. It consists mostly of SPN/CWRPS stuff, but there is a good hunk of Merlin in there too, and that is where my problem is coming from. See, for my SPN/CWRPS fic I tagged the rating, so that one could search for fic that way. However, if I do the same thing with the Merlin fic then the fics get ALL MASHED TOGETHER in the ratings tagging department. WHAT TO DO?! I cried. Then I realized that I have a paid account! And you know what that means, flist? THAT'S RIGHT. A POLL.
